This Report for the year ended 31 March 1994 has been prepared for submission to the Governor under Article 151 (2) of the Constitution. The audit of revenue receipt of the State Government is conducted under Section 16 of the Comptroller and Auditor General' (Duties, Power and Conditions of Service) Act, 1971. This report pre en ts the re ults of audit of receipts comprising ales tax, land revenue, taxes on vehicle , stamp duty and registration fees and other tax and non-tax receipts of the State. The case mentioned in this Report are among those which came to notice in the course of test audit of records during the year 1993-94 as wel l as those noticed in earlier years but could not be included in previous Reports.

Government commercial concerns, the accounts of which are subject to audit by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, fall under the following categories: Government companies; Statutory corporations; and Departmentally managed commercial undertakings. 2. This Report deals with the results of audit of Government companies and Statutory corporations including Haryana State Electricity Board and has been prepared for submission to the Government of Haryana for presentation to the Legislature under Section 19 A of the Comptroller and Auditor General's (Duties, Powers and Conditions of Services) Act, 1971 , as amended from time to time. Some of the omissions noticed during the audit of annual accounts of the Government companies under Section 619(4) of the Companies Act, 1956, are included in this Report.
